Painting, essay, selfie competitions conducted

Imphal, August 10 2022: Sehlon Battalion of IGAR (S) organised a painting competition at New Samtal Government Primary School in Chandel district on Wednesday to celebrate "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" .

A total of 59 students of the School participated in the competition.

Meanwhile, Phundrei Battalion of IGAR (S) organised an essay compilation on "Important of sports in life" at Salutation Army Elite Children English School, Chairel Khunou village in Kakching district on Wednesday to promote sports and encourage the students to inculcate sports in their daily life.

The competition culminated with prize distribution followed by refreshments to all students.

On the other hand, Kei-thelmanbi Battalion of IGAR (South) conducted 'selfie competition' for students of Assam Rifles Public School Keithelmanbi and children of Keithelmanbi Garrison under the theme "Har Ghar Thanga" on August 8 and 9, The event had enthusiastic participation of over 200 students from class 1 to 12 of Assam Rifles Public School Keithelmanbi and over 150, children of Keithelmanbi Garrison.
