Myanmar hands over 10 Indian Nationals

Ten Indian nationals who were in Myanmar prison have been handed over to Indian officials after completion of their sentence today.
It is not clear why the 10 Indians were held there.
The 10 Indians were handed over to Indian officials at a programme held at Myanmar Immigration Office near Indo-Myanmar Friendship bridge today.
The programme was attended by Tengnoupal DC Mannuamching, Senior Immigration Officer Y Krisna Anand Singh and officials of Land Customs and police while Myanmar was represented by its Immigration Officer Si Thu Kyaw.
The individuals who were handed over today are Amini Jeet Das (33) of Moreh Ward number 7; Lunjalal Haokip (21) of Moreh Ward number 1; Phaningkhui Kapai (40) of Ukhrul; Thongminlal (22) of Chandel; Thoibi Devi (49) of Moreh Ward number 2; Laldungkima (36) from Samsul village, Mizoram; Lalchhuanawama (42) of Down Town Champhai Mizoram; Ninaghoi (33) of Moreh Ward number 1; Lalpu (27) of Moreh Ward No 1 and Niang Boi (42) from Moreh Ward No 1 .
