Committee mulls action against NK Group

Moirang Gold Loan Committee has asked NK Group Private Ltd chairman Nongsaibam Sanjit of Yairipok to communicate with the Committee within August 15, and cautioned that in case of failure, it will take up further action and will not consider any of his complaints in future.
Addressing a press meet held at Keipha road, Moirang on Wednesday, Committee vice president Surjit Khuman said that the Committee was formed by NK Group Private Ltd, Moirang Branch 'Stop Payment Gold Loan' scheme members after the scheme's rules and regulation were amended by the company.
The Committee has held a number of meeting with N Sanjit after which an agreement was reached and as security two land 'Pattas' were given to the Committee which have now been entered in the name of the Committee, he added.
Surjit continued that to reach a final resolution on the matter, N Sanjit must contact the Committee by August 15 or else it would have to take up further steps without his consent.
He also mentioned that the Committee has 999 members and if N Sanjit does not get in touch with the Committee, then it will sell the two 'Pattas' and distribute the money raised from the sale to its members.
