Help extended, medical camps conducted

Continuing human-itarian service to the needy, several philanthropists and organisations continue to provide essential items and conduct medical camps at re-lief camps sheltering victims displaced from riot-hit areas.
In collaboration with Meek-ley Royal Riders, Sugnu AC MLA K Ranjit organised a free medical camp for the displaced populace from various areas of the constituency and cur-rently staying at Kakching Khunou Makha High School on Sunday.
In all, 300 people were checked by a combined team of 30 doctors (general medi-cine, gynaecologists and or-thopaedics) and nurses from JNIMS, RIMS and Advanced Hospital during the camp and medicines distributed to the needy.
Similarly, Wangoi MLA Kh Loken, Senior Citizens Club Manipur, Manipur Indige-nous Conservative Forum (MICE) and Malom Tuliyai-ma Awang Apunba Nupi Lup (Thoubal), Sayang Kurao Mak-hong Mamang Salam Kolup and Chaokhatminashi Bolero Finance (Brahmapur Laljilakpa Leikai) distributed essential items including edibles, spec-tacles and female hygiene ma-terials among others to relief camps set up at Shyamashakhi Girls School (Yaiskul), Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Asivaya Vidyalaya (Lamboi Khong-nangldiong), Maklang, Sekmai and Samurou government high schools, Tekcham Girls Upper Primary School and Peace and Relief Committee, Singjamei.
Global Manipur Federa-tion Australia also donated relief materials including bed sheets, drinking water and others to Macha Leima Relief Service for further distribution to relief camps in different areas.
One India Foundation also provided edibles to fami-ly members of one Angom Premkumar of Phayeng Mayai Leikai affected by the violence.
Committee on Present Issue of Manipur (COPIM) along with Saina Institute of Medical Science Porompat conducted medical camp for inmates of Hiyanglam Girls Junior High School relief camp at Hiyan-glam Lai Pangalba, and Pi-oneer Health Club Manipur Khurai Sajor Leikai at Sagol-mang relief camp.
All Meitei Medicos' Union (AMMU) JNIMS supported by Associa-tion of Meiteis in the America, All Assam Manipuri Doctor Association, MITSNA, Bless Diagnostic and senior Meiteis doctors also conducted medi-cal camp at Yairipok Yambem High School relief camp.
Free medication and emergency laboratory tests were also provided at free of cost.
