Imphal, February 19 2022:
Heingang AC Indian National Congress (INC) candidate Pangeijam Saratchandra has stated that he is contesting the elections to eliminate corruption from the state completely.
On Saturday, Saratchandra released a website in his name, titled pangeijamsaratchandra.in with the objective of informing the masses about his long career in the field of education and to allow the people to express their opinions.
Speaking on the occasion, Saratchandra explained that the website has been launched with the hope of assisting students, and youth of the state, in addition to reflecting his lifelong efforts for development of the society.
Declaring that he wants to develop human resources to bring huge changes in the state, Saratchandra said: "The youth are the backbone of the society.
The government needs to closely monitor the educational progress of the youth to help them become capable citizens in the future.
However, the ruling government is teaching about corruption to the young and the limits one is willing to cross for capturing power, as is shown by the greedy politicians.
Thus, the youth no longer see a bright future for themselves and get under the influence of drugs out of hopelessness".
Stating that he will eliminate corruption completely from Heingang AC and later, from the state, Saratchandra recalled his humble beginnings and said that he has no greed because of his lacklustre origin.
He then assured of providing government and private jobs to the youth, while also vowing to set up industries for ensuring livelihood of the unemployed youths.
The INC candidate then invited suggestions from the people through the website.
