F4C, CFA, XI Star cruise as NACO, RAU, AIM win

F4C, Classic FA and XI Star SU were easy winners in Saturday's fixtures of the 63rd CC Meet while NACO, RAU and AIM all prevailed by an identical margin.
F4C (Saikul) inflicted a 7-1 hammering on FC Lam-jao (Kakching) in a Group D match at Main Stadium, Khuman Lampak.
Reuben and Mangminlal made the most of the rout, claiming a treble each.
F4C started off with a 3rd-minute opener from Reuben as Mangminlal extended the lead in a matter of four minutes before Reuben scored twice in the 15th and 29th minutes to give their side a commanding 4-0 lead.
FC Lamjao reduced the arrears in the 32nd minute through Th Yaiphaba.
After conceding, F4C roared back into action in the second period with Seijoseph slotting home their fifth goal in the 52nd minute before Mangminlal took care of the rest.
Mangminlal put his side 6-1 up in the 63rd minute and went on to collect his third in the 80th minute to steer F4C to a thumping 7-1 victory.
Tongminsei struck twice as Classic FA (Chingmeirong) swept aside ASSA (Sangaiyumpham) 3-0 in their Group B encounter.
Tongminsei opened the scoring in the 12th minute and he made it 2-0 in the 35th minute before Ganningam wrapped up the win with a 78th-minute goal.
At Turf Ground, XI Star SU (Akampat) rode on Kh Beckham's double to claim a convincing 3-1 triumph over UBSA (Mantak) in a Group H meeting.
UBSA took the lead in the 29th minute with help of Md Nasir but XI Star fought their way back into the game with a 38th-minute leveller by Kh Beckham, who went to put the Akampat side ahead in the 2nd minute of first-half injury time.
After Beckham's double, XI Star were made to work hard for their third goal that came in the 86th minute through Donaldo for a convincing 3-1 result.
In a Group G match, NACO (Elangbam Leikai) notched up a 2-1 win over DFA Moreh at Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.
S Basanta put NACO in front in the 33rd minute and DFA Moreh responded in the 62nd minute with Rohit on target.
In the ensuing contest, Sinruwng converted in the 82nd minute to ensure his side ran out 2-1 winners.
Lungoulen scored a brace to help AIM (Khabam Lamkhai) register a 2-1 success against DMRAO (Awang Sekmai) in a Group B match at the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.
Lungoulen opened the scoring in the 26th minute but DMRAO drew level in the 49th minute through A Kinesh before Lungoulen produced another individual quality to put back AIM in front in the 65th minute as his side clung on to scoop all three points.
RAU (Lairikyengbam) fought back from a goal down to secure a 2-1 victory against PAMYAL (Patsoi) in their Group H contest at Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.
After a goalless first half, PAMYAL took the lead in the 48th minute after Rebanta found the back of the net.
RAU, however, were back in the game with a 57th-minute equaliser from Lamjingba N and then Jangjagin made it 2-1 in the 71st minute and that eventually proved to be decisive.
