Special polling station elates lone voter

For facilitating one displaced voter only, a special polling station was set up at Moreh Higher Secondary School, Moreh in Tengnoupal district in the second phase of the 18th Lok Sabha election on Friday.
The special polling station for the Inner Manipur parliamentary constituency was opened for Henvanlallien Kaihmang (38), who hails from Phaipijang Langol but is currently taking shelter at Moreh Higher Secondary School, Moreh.
Henvanlallien Kaihmang thanked the ECI for arranging the special station for her and ensuring her right as a citizen of India to vote in the Lok Sabha election..
Meanwhile, electors particularly aged above 85 years exercised their franchise without any hitch at 42/6 Khangsim model polling station under Tengnoupal AC.
The model polling station of Tengnoupal AC falling under Outer Manipur parliamentary constituency had voters from Koijam, Khangsim and Heikakpokpi villages exercising their franchise rights.
