Tripura CM, Nagaland minister campaign for BJP candidates

Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb attended a one-day political conference held at Netaji School playground, Jakuradhor, Jiribam, on Saturday.
Addressing the gathering, Biplab heaped praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's effort which resulted in development of indigenous Covid vaccine and saving the people of India.
Earlier Tripura was unknown to people of other states but many people have now begun to know more about the state (Tripura), he claimed, while attributing it to PM Modi's leadership and development policy.
Likewise, Manipur has got the public attention following its development under the leadership of Modi, he added.
"There are different communities living together in Jiribam and we are all Indians and one in the vision of Narendra Modi.
Your problem can be solved by national party like BJP, but an independent candidate couldn't do anything for you," the Tripura chief minister said.
He asserted that N Bud-hachandra, BJP candidate in Jiribam AC, will surely win the upcoming state assembly election.
"In PM Modi's heart, there is no difference between the people of Delhi and North East", he added.
"Today, under the leadership of Narendra Modi, we are seeing peace and normalcy in the state of Manipur; there are no more bandhs and blockade in Manipur under the leadership of BJP government," Biplab asserted.
The programme was also attended by K Sarat Kumar Singh, general secretary of BJP Manipur Pradesh; Kh Janaki Devi, adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad, Jiribam; L Veerjeet Singh, spokesperson of BJP Manipur Pradesh; and A Biren Singh, ex-minister, Manipur, among other dignitaries.
Meanwhile, Temjen Imnalong, who is president of BJP Nagaland Pradesh and also Minister of Higher Education and Tribal Affairs, Nagaland, attended a public meeting of Kangpokpi AC BJP candidate Nemcha Kipgen on Saturday at Kangpokpi district headquarters.
Speaking at the event, Temjen Imnalong urged the voters of Kangpokpi assembly constituency to let Nemcha win the election with a record margin for inclusive governance where even the poorest of the poor are not left behind.
He said that Nemcha is not only a leader but also a sincere and faithful worker of the people, while stating that her humanity and kindness during the COVID pandemic had been the talk of the country.
Temjen further said that there are many political parties in the state and the country but BJP is the only one that is inclusive.
In her address, Nemcha conveyed heartfelt gratitude to the BJP Nagaland Pradesh team led Temjen for attending the public meeting in connection with the ensuing Assembly Election 2022.She said that the distance between Manipur and Delhi has been reduced and the state has found its place on the nation s map in terms of connectivity which is all because of the central leaders.
She further said that the obstacles to the growth journey of the state have been removed and the next 25 years are the Amrit Kaal (Golden Era) of Manipur's development.
Highlighting the recently released manifesto of BJP, Nemcha said that the continuous efforts of the party's central leaders under the leadership of PM Modi enabled them get a first hand account of expectations and aspirations of the people of the state for bringing inclusive development.
The BJP candidate further said that Manipur needs a double engine Government for all-around development and this will be possible only if BJP returns to power with an absolute majority in the election.
She appealed to the people of Manipur in general and 50-Kangpokpi AC, in particular, to continue their support to BJP for a developed Manipur.
BJP Kangpokpi Mandal leaders from various communities including Naga, Nepali and Kuki, apart from various chiefs and CSOs leaders also attended the public meeting.
