State logs one new case, two recoveries

Imphal, November 23 2022:
Number of active cases of Covid-19 in the state came down to 10 on Wednesday, as government bulletins reported two recoveries and one new case from out of 112 samples tested in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 0.9 per cent.
The lone fresh case is a male resident of Kakching district.
Out of the 10 active cases, four are in home isolation.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,913 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 289 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,48,291, out of which 13,36,074 had received the second dose and 2,78,019 precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49844), Imphal East (32065), Thoubal (10299), Churachandpur (11294), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9987), Senapati (2548), Ukhrul (3372), Kakching (6982), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1058), and Pherzawl (477) .
Fatality counts in different districts are Imphal West (712), Imphal East (517), Thoubal (192), Churachandpur (169), Kangpokpi (70), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (206), Senapati (13), Ukhrul (52), Kakching (124), Chandel (43), Noney (5), Tengnoupal (17), Jiribam (7), Kamjong (5), and Pherzawl (0) .
