MTI Hub conducts Start-Up Road Show

As part of its on-going Start-Up Road Show, a team of Manipur Technology Innovation (MTI) Hub interacted with Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Takyel joint director Ingo Thiyam, students and teaching staff on Wednesday.
Informing that MTI Hub is located at IT Park Mantripukhri as an initiative of Department of Information Technology implemented by KIIT-TBI Bhubaneswar, one of India's largest incubator institutes, MTI Hub informed that it provides end to end 360 degree incubation solution for the Start-Up primarily from electronics and IT space.
In a release, MTI Hub quoted it manager Dr Rajiv Kangabam as stating that MTI Hub will extend support system and funding opportunity for the start-up ecosystem in the NE region especially in the state of Manipur.
It has well laid out funding opportunities in various categories for selected Start-Ups with innovative and scalable ideas that can be translated to business, he added.
On the other hand, MTI programme manager Malay Moha-patra conveyed that MTI Hub is equipped with one of the finest incubation labs where students are given hands-on structured and systematic mentoring by subject experts to take their ideas further.
It plans to be the leading incubator in the state and provide a one stop solution with facilities and various programmes which will immensely benefit Start-Ups from the region, he said.
Malay Mohapatra also emphasised that MTI Hub is well aligned with call for Make in India where students, scientists and researchers are encouraged to harness the power of science and technology and translate their idea from lab to land and create their sustain-able product for the advancement of the region.
MTI Hub further conveyed that the programme ended with student taking part in socially relevant problem statement, solution contest and handing out of prizes to the winners of the contest.
