Mega legal services camp held at various places

As part of the nationwide campaign "Empowerment of Citizens through Legal Awareness and Outreach", District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Churachandpur under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA) and National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) organised a 1-Day Mega Legal Services Camp at Chief Judicial Magistrate Office campus, Mini Secretariat, Tuibong.
The camp was conducted in collaboration with District Administration Churachand-pur and 36 Assam Rifles, said a release issued by DLSA.
The mega camp was inaugurated by Lamkhanpau Tonsing, District & Sessions Judge cum chairman DLSA Churachandpur in the presence of Sorokhaibam Sadananda, Chief Judicial Magistrate cum secretary DLSA Churachandpur; S Khaikhopau Ngaihte, ADC Churachandpur; Shivanand Surve, SP Churachandpur; and Dr Kimngaihching Simte, CMO Churachandpur among others.

During the camp, public services such as enrollment of Aadhaar cards, labour cards, CMHT, ILP, medical check-up, legal counselling, assistance on various Government schemes, etc were provided.
Saikot AC MLA, Paolienlal Haokip also attended the mega legal services camp.
TAMENGLONG
DLSA Tamenglong also organised a 1-Day Legal Awareness Programme at Christian Grammar School, Thingkham Square, Tamenglong district today as a part of "Paolienlal Haokip- A pan India campaign" today.
It was attended by Dr Laishram Rina Devi, secretary DLSA Tamenglong; Clement H Panmei, principal Christian Grammar School; Daniel P Kamsuan, advocate; teaching and non-teaching staff; PLVs of Legal Aid Clinic Tamenglong and students.
At the event, Daniel P Kamsuan delivered a lecture on the topic, "Prohibition of Child Marriage" .
