Jailed Indian nationals in Myanmar released, deported

Moreh, November 10 2022:
Myanmarese government has released and deported four Indian nationals, who have been spending jail time in the neighbouring country.
The four individuals were handed over to the Indian authority through the immigration assistant director of ICP Moreh at Indo-Myanmar Border Friendship Iron Bridge (Lokchao Bridge) on Thursday.
The Myanmarese government officials were led by Immigration Officer Tamu Si Thuw Kyaw while the Indian side included OC of Moreh police station Ch Anand, CO of 5 Assam Rifles, ICP Moreh manager Thenkholal Baite, Custom Preventive Force, Moreh SP SK Gangte, LCSY inspector T Gangte and ICP Moreh assistant director YK Anand.
The four Indian nationals were released from the Myanmarese jail and deported on Thursday are Thangtinlon (23) son of Jamkholun of Lumpi village, Chandel; Paotinlen (28) son of Chungam of Thongmon village, Chandel; Ngamhomang (33) son of Dongthang of New Wajang village, Chandel; and Limneilal Mate (41) son of Ngankhojang Mate of Sahumphai village, Sugnu, Kakching district.
According to an official report, the deported individuals will be handed over to their respective family members.
