Imphal, April 03 2023: After months, the State now has three active cases as a 21-year-old male tested positive for Covid in the last 24 hours.

The fresh case was detected while testing 56 samples.

While the 21-year-old hails from Kangpokpi district and he has been staying at Checkon, Imphal.

The case was detected at JNIMS, and necessary containment measures have been taken up, said Government COVID-19 Common Control Room.

With the latest case, the total number of positive cases has reached 1,39,927 with the death toll resting at 2,149 .

So far, 16,70,906 samples have been tested.

Meanwhile no persons were vaccinated against Covid yesterday and as such, the total number of doses of vaccines administered remains at 32,69,105 .
