Malaria Department takes up Dengue precautionary measure in Moreh

Moreh, July 31 2022: In light of the recent surge in the number of Dengue cases in Moreh, the Special Malaria Unit of Tengnoupal Malaria Department conducted a house to house survey for Aedes mosquitoes.

The survey was conducted in collaboration with volunteers of Khong-Nangthaba leikai at Moreh market, Dramasa leikai and Tali road leikai.

The team also spread larvicide and performed fogging in the areas today.

Locals expressed their gratitude towards the Department for the precautionary measures undertaken to prevent the outbreak of Dengue.

Meanwhile officials have also appealed the locals to use mosquito nets while sleeping and prevent any stagnant water which can be breeding grounds of Aedes mosquitoes.
