2nd Khelo India NE Archery Tournament held

The second edition of Khelo India North East (Mizoram, Nagaland and Manipur) Archery Tournament was organised by Sport Authority of India North East Regional Centre, Takyel today.
In the one day event held at SAI Takyel Centre, P Lily of SAIRC gathered 654 points to win the 50+50 senior women's compound title as her compatriot Sh Manorama finished second with a point lesser than her.
Ksh Manglemsana of VAA was third with 647 points in the competition.
In the senior men's 50+50 compound event, A Joychandra of GAC shot 668 points to finish on top.
MPSC's Ch Bimol Singh (662) and P Jagat Singh of ARAC (646) finished second and third.
Senyai Th of VAA shot 626 points to win the 50+50 m compound title for sub-junior girls.
VAA's Th Gracia and Yaikhomba registered 605 and 474 points respectively to seal the second and third place in the same category.
In the 50+50 m compound event for sub-junior boys, RK Priyobarta of UAC finished first with the highest 685 points as Y Rojit (659 pts) of NSA and M Robinson (653 pts) of UAC finished second and third.
In the same event for junior girls, UAC's N Roshni shot 614 points to finish on top while her compatriot, N Beronika finished second with 557 points.
Finishing third in the same category was I Rama of VAA who scored 556 points.
The junior boys title on the other hand went to L Yohenba of SAIRC who tallied 684 points while N Deepak of AAA sealed the second spot with 655 points and H Teuton Khuman of SAIRC finished third with 646 points.
Individual Olympic Round Recurve events
In the senior women's individual Olympic Round Recurve event.
Th Shwasita Devi of SAIRC earned 6 points to win the first place while BCAC's W Malesori (4 pts) and SAIRC's Lunmila Phunshok (0 pt) finished second and third.
In the senior men's event, M Malemnganba of FAC (6 pts), N Subhachandra of ARAC (4 pts) and T Sen Meitei of ARAC (6 pts) finished first, second and third place respectively.
In the sub-junior girls competition, N Linthoingambi of SAIRC (7 pts) beat Y Sanamanbi of ESU (1 pt) to finish first as H Shandyarani of NSA (7 pts) finished third.
I Orbit of KMAC in the meantime sealed first place in the sub-junior boys competition with a total of 6 points.
L Nelson of SAIRC (4 pts) and L Yohenba Meitei of FAC (6 pts) finished second and third.
Gangmei Lunguilu of SAIRC (495 pts) and L Laxmi of PC (465 pts) finished first and second in the junior girls event as K Maijit of SAIRC finished first in the junior boys event with the highest 6 points.
