Protests for state's integrity continue

Demanding the protection of Manipur's ter-ritorial integrity, Youth De-velopment Laikol organised a sit-in protest at Yairipok Laikol, Imphal East District on Monday.
Another sit-in protest was organised by All Changam - dabi Club Co-ordinating Committee at Yairipok Chan-gamdabi Mathak community hall on Monday.
Speaking on the sidelines, Committee convenor Ishaque Shah Kori pointed out that it is the unanimous stand of the Meitei Pangal communi-ty that Manipur's integrity cannot be disturbed at any cost.
The community will not remain silent if the state's integrity is affected, he stated and urged the central and state governments to restore normalcy in the state.
Meanwhile, Leishangthem Khongmanung Meira Paibi Lup formed a human chain on both sides of Thoubal Leishangthem Khongma-nung road on Monday.
During the demonstration, the protestors held placards and shouted slogans like "No to disintegration of Mani-pur", "We want peace", "We are one", "No separate ad-ministration in Manipur", "Withdraw SoO with Kuki militants", "Withdraw As-sam Rifles from Manipur", "Implement NRC in Mani-pur", "Include Meetei/Meitei in ST list", and "Long Live Manipur" .
