Thanga candidates share reason, vision

The two candidates who are in fray for the seat of Thanga assembly constituency shared their reasons and visions to The People's Chronicle for contesting the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election.
BJP candidate Tongbram Robindro Singh stated that he wants to develop Thanga AC and address all its shortcomings and as such, his first task after getting elected would be to give more attention to human resource development, skill development, self employment and entrepreneurship in the constituency over the next 5 years.
His vision for the state is to make it self-sustainable by mobilising existing resources to improve the economy.
Meanwhile, INC candidate Birla Haobijam said that he is contesting the polls with the objective of developing Thanga and improving the education, health and tourism sectors, in addition to setting up necessary infrastructures.
His vision for the state is to develop the infrastructure so as it to make it worthy of its moniker as the corridor of Southeast Asia.
