'One lakh expected at PM's rally'

Cabinet Minister in Assam Government Ashok Singhal has claimed that about one lakh people are expected to attend the BJP's election rally at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium on February 22 which will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking to media persons during a press briefing held at the cricket stadium today, Ashok Singhal who is in-charge of the Prime Minister visit, stated that he is thankful to the people of Manipur for creating a BJP wave to ensure a big victory in the election.
Saying that people of Manipur have faith in the saffron party for the works done in the last five years by the party, he added that the election campaign of BJP will further be intensified by the visit of Narendra Modi.

Continuing that the election campaign scheduled on February 22 will be the biggest of its kind, Ashok Singhal contended that BJP is confident of winning 40 plus seats on seeing the response of the people.
BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda Devi said that the proposed visit of the Prime Minister will not only encourage the party workers but also send a message to the masses.
Reiterating that people of Manipur adore the BJP for all the works the party has done so far, A Sharda said that party is committed to bring more changes in the State after the election too.
As Narendra Modi always delivers power packed addresses, about one lakh people are expected to turn out for the programme, she added.
