Stay away from divisive politics: Sheikh Noorul Hassan appeals

While assuring that he will bring inclusive development and peace in his constituency if he is elected as MLA, the NPP candidate of Kshetrigao AC Sheikh Noorul Hassan has urged the people in his constituency to stay away from divisive politics.
He was speaking as the chief guest at his flag hoisting ceremony at his Kshetri Awang Leikai's residence today.
Noorul Hassan, who is also the general secretary of NPP, State Unit maintained that the Kshetrigao A/C has been lagging behind from other constituency in every sector since the representatives of the constituency in the past had been only good in spewing venoms amongst the different communities instead of doing developmental politics.
He further urged the people to disengage the mundane politics of inciting communal hatred to work towards bringing progress and inclusive development in the constituency.

"The ensuing election is a new revolution of the people of Kshetrigao A/C to outcast the mundane politics where incitement, hate mongering and spewing venom among the different communities plays the major role", Noorul Hassan added.
Asserting that he entered politics with the strong determination to take Kshetrigao A/C into a new height, the NPP candidate elucidated the policy and programmes for youths, women, farmers, infrastructural development and water supply among others.
He went on to exude confidence that he will defeat his nearest BJP rival by a minimum of 7000 votes.
Meanwhile, NPP National president Conrad Sangma while speaking to media on the sideline of the function spelled out the difficulties faced by NPP in partnering with the BJP in running the coalition Government of the State.
Conrad Sangma said "Coalition is a system that needs to build trust.
It requires taking all the partnership on board and consulting everyone in the partnership.", adding "We face a lot of difficult situations and challenges.
However, we stuck with the coalition.
But I hope that such challenges will be evaded when the party becomes stronger this time" .
The NPP National president while condemning the recent violence at Andro A/C, conveyed that he had informed the ECI about the incident besides officially complaining to the CEO, Manipur yesterday.
Stating that the occurrence of violent incidents like that of Andro A/C creates worry and fear to the public mind, he observed that such situation is not conducive for free and fair election and steps should be taken in the best possible way to provide enough security to the candidates and to thwart occurrences of such incidents again.
Conrad Sangma added that the public trust on law and democracy could be reinstalled when the culprits involved in the Andro violence are booked and punished as per the law.
