No place for violence in democracy: N Biren

Chief Minister N Biren Singh has said that the people has shown great confidence in the BJP because of the people centric policies of the Government and assured that BJP will get absolute majority in the upcoming election.
N Biren Singh made the remark while attending the flag hoisting ceremony of Kshetrigao AC MLA and BJP candidate Nahakpam Indrajit yesterday at the residence of N Indrajit at Thambalkhong Sabal Leikai.
Speaking at the event, Chief Minister N Biren Singh said that the BJP Government has brought an inclusive development of both hills and the valley, brought peace and harmony in the State and created a feeling of oneness amongst us, which has led to the people extending their unaltered and unhindered support of BJP.

This faith that the people of the land have on BJP will give the party an absolute majority in the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election.
Coming out strongly against NPP, which is part of the present coalition government, N Biren Singh said NPP had been engaged in making baseless allegation.
Regarding the incident that happended yesterday at Andro, he said instructions have already been given to investigate the matter and added that there is no place for violence in democracy.
He also added that the party have given strict instruction not to engage in violent activity and there have been no report of BJP indulging in such activities.
Speaking at the event, MLA Indrajit said people who are sure of losing the election had instigated him and his people but they had exercise restraint which have prevented any violent incident in the constituency.
The programme was also attended by BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda Devi; Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba sanajaoba; BJP Manipur Pradesh vice president N Bimbus and O Lakshman, president BJP Kshetrigao Mandal as presidium members.
