Sunibala adds judo gold to state's medal tally, Bishal bags bronze

After a three-day medal lull, Manipur's campaign got back on track as H Sunibala Devi clinched a gold medal and K Bishal Singh took a bronze in judo in the ongoing 36th National Games on Friday.
H Sunibala outdid Delhi's Mega Tokas 1-0 to claim her yellow metal in the women's -63kg category.
In her semifinal duel, Sunibala beat Uttarakhand's Unnati Sharma by the same 1-0 margin.
Earlier, the state judoka had defeated Sneha of Uttar Pradesh in the first round before she got the better of Delhi's Reva Rawat on her way to the semifinal.
On the other hand, K Bishal Singh lost to Delhi's Ayush Mavari in the second round of -66kg category to bag the bronze medal.
In the first round, Bishal outperformed Uttar Pradesh's Vivek Yadav.
Nk Romen Singh won the gold medal of the -66kg category after beating Ayush Mavari in the final.
With two more medals on Friday, Manipur stayed ninth in medal tally with 14 gold, five silver and 12 bronze.
Services continued to dominate with 100 medals including 42 gold, 31 silver and 27 bronze, followed by Haryana with 75 medals (29 gold, 23 silver & 23 bronze), and Maharashtra in third place with 26 gold, 26 silver and 48 bronze.
