Debating competition on clean polls on Dec 30

Imphal, December 14 2021: Youth Collective Manipur (YCM) in association with Debators' Union Manipur and Youth Athletic Club (YAC) Bishnupur ward no 7 will organise a State Level Open Debating Competition on December 30 in a bid to make the upcoming 12th Manipur State Legislative Assembly Election a free and fair one.

A press release issued by YCM media coordinator Shintha Laishram informed that the competition will be held on the theme "Quality of sincerity more important than the ability or potential of the candidate".

The competition will be held at YAC playground, Bishnupur Kha Mamang Leikai.

Those who wish to take part in the debating competition may contact the phone numbers 9089752436 or 9615213720 for further details.

The first, second and third position winners will receive Rs 10,000, Rs 7000 and Rs 5000, respectively and consolation prize will be given to another five contestants, it added.
