Union minister interacts with BJP workers

Churachandpur, December 14 2021:
Amidst intensification of election related activities in the district, Union minister of state for social justice and empowerment Pratima Bhaumik, who is also the election in-charge of Manipur, visited Churachandpur on Tuesday and interacted with BJP workers of six assembly constituencies of Churachandpur district.
Upon her arrival at Churachandpur district headquarters, Pratima Bhaumik was accorded a grand reception at Zenhang Lamka community hall.
A large number of party workers who gathered at the community hall gave her a rousing welcome.
She then proceeded to attend another reception programme organised by Singhat (Singhat) MLA GS Haupu at his Churachandpur town residence wherein she was adorned with tribal traditional shawls as a mark of respect.
Later, she was accorded warm welcome at New Boljang community hall by party workers of Saikot AC.
While addressing gathering in one of the reception functions, Pratima Bhaumik talked about achievements of BJP ruled states and claimed that peace and tranquillity is prevailing in Manipur since the coming of the BJP-led government.
She also said that the culture of calling bandhs and blockades and imposition of curfew have ended since the coming of the BJP-led government while the earlier Congress government was marked with corruption, crime, etc.
