Kakching, December 14 2021:
The main culvert of Kakching Makha Leikai Naodam Pareng constructed with fund from MLA Local Area Development fund of Kakching MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar has been inaugurated by the MLA himself on Tuesday.
Addressing the gathering at the inauguration event, MLA Rameshwar said that the question being asked to him frequently by intending candidates of Kakching AC about non-development and shortcomings in the AC should rather be raised to former MLA who was representative of the constituency for more than 13 years.
He also claimed of taking up various development works for the constituency within a short time of around one year only.
According to Rameshwar, politics is about understanding pulse of the people and delivering welfare service to the people and there is no question of terming politics as a 'dirty game' but it is politicians who are dirty.
Mentioning some of the development works he had done since becoming an MLA around one year back, Rameshwar said that construction of Deen Dayal Upadhay Youth multipurpose hall at Kakching Makha Leikai is almost completed and construction of a 100-bedded Covid hospital near CHC Kakching which is to be upgraded to district hospital has begun.
The Covid hospital will have ICU ward having 15 beds while one oxygen plant has been inaugurated.
Development of an Eco Tourism Park near CHC Kakching has reached half-way stage while construction of Ima Market at Pallel too has begun.
He also said that black-topping of 36 out of 37 roads in Kakching AC had already been completed and five/six roads would be black-topped before the upcoming election.
