On Friday, a team of Mayang Imphal PS produced Laishram ningol Thongam ongbi Sorojini (40) w/o (L) Ibohal of Kokchai Mayang Imphal before the Court, in accordance with an order issued by the Court on September 14 .
Based on an order of the Court passed on November 30, 2019, the date for Sorojini's charge hearing was fixed.
However, the date continued to be postponed after the accused failed to show up in the court.
Since then, a total of eight arrest warrants had been issued against her.

Thus, she was directed to furnish a new bail bond and surety bond of Rs 1 lakh each.

The case is currently at the stage of charge consideration.
