Anti-Terrorism Day on May 3

May 3 will be observed as "Anti Terrorism Day", said Thawai Mirel today.
At Manipur Press Club, Imphal today, its convenor, Thongam Dara said the Kuki narco-terrorists' aggression against the Meiteis will complete a year on May 3, 2024, and this day will be observed as "Anti Terrorism Day" .
The aggression which began on May 3, 2023 has killed many innocent civilians.
Hundreds of houses of the Meiteis have been burnt and levelled to the ground and thousands have been displaced, he said.
Denouncing the atrocities perpetrated by the Kuki narco-terrorists and their terror activities, May 3, 2024 will be observed as "Anti Terrorism Day" calling on the people to unite against the evil, Dara added.
Urging all to join the observance, Dara appealed to the people to remember and pay homage to martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the motherland.
He also urged people to take resolutions to stand against the aggressors for victory.
