Seminar on advance research in NE held

Thoubal, October 14 2022:
As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Waikhom Mani Girls' College, Thoubal Okram along with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college organised a national seminar on 'Multidisciplinary Advance Research in North Eastern India' at the college on Friday.
The inaugural function was attended by Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Education Dr Rk Ranjan Singh, DM University vice chancellor Prof N Rajmuhon Singh, College principal Prof H Manoranjan Sharma and Indian Science Congress Association, Imphal Chapter convenor Prof Arun Kumar as presidium members.
The abstract volume of the seminar was also released as a part of the function.
Speaking at the function, Dr Rk Ranjan highlighted that the introduction of National Education Policy, 2022 under the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is aimed at ensuring education to every person.
He appealed to all for minutely discussing the components of NEP and help in making education sector of the country as one of the best in the world.
