Bank of India opens branch at Khurai

Imphal, December 19 2022:
Office of the Bank of India (BOI), Sainik School branch has been shifted to Khurai Sajor Leikai, Lamlong Bazar on Monday with BOI Guwahati zonal manager Ramesh Kumar inaugurating the branch.
Addressing the gathering, Ramesh Kumar said that formal processes would be initiated to give an appropriate name of the branch within few days.
Informing that BOI is among the top 5 banks of the country, the zonal manager also clarified that there is no plan to merge with other bank anytime soon.
While conveying that the bank has been operating successfully with the cooperation of the public, Ramesh assured provision of all benefits available to its customers.
New branches will also be opened at Churachandpur and Palace Compound, he added.
Meanwhile, Khurai Nandeibam Leikai GP pradhan Yumnam Chitra said that the new branch will help the locals have convenient access to banking services arid also appealed to the public to open bank accounts in the new branch so as to it become the branch with highest number of account holders.
The inaugural programme was also attended by BOI Sainik School branch manager S Singsit among other bank officials.
