SSUM to look into incident of question leak

All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) has informed that the re-examination of Mathematics subject for the pre-board examination was conducted successfully on Monday.
In a release, AMRPSWA said that the pre-board examination was conducted with strict vigilance by the association.
In view of the case of question leak on the day of Mathematics subject on December 17, the re examination was conducted afresh, it said, adding that a team of flying squad led by its vice president S Gopeshor and joint secretary P Romen visited the exam centres and found proper conduct of the exam.
Meanwhile, Socialist Students' Union of Manipur (SSUM), in a release, opined that the case of question leak for pre-board examination of HSLC appearing students conducted by AMRPSWA and the subsequent postponement of the exam demoralised the students.
There is no reason for question leak while conducting an exam, SSUM publicity and information secretary Inaoyaima Salam asserted, while adding that it is because of the negligence on the part of the or ganiser.
The union along with like-minded organisations will look into the matter of question leak and subsequent postponement of the exam and find out those involved in it.
SSUM will also provide all possible help when AMRPSWA probes the matter and finds out the culprit(s), he assured.
Inaoyaima further assured of extending help in ensuring free and fair conduct of examinations by BSEM and COHSEM.
