Certificate distributed to kin of BSF martyr

Imphal, January 07 2023:
10th Battalion BSF deputy commandant Manish Kumar, on behalf of the Director General of Border Security Force, distributed Operational Casualty Certificate to Radha Devi, wife of Martyr Ct (Driver) T Bisheshwar Sharma of Lilong Chajing in Imphal West district.
The programme was attended by Lilong Municipal Council councillor Arambam Ohila Devi and member Khaidem Romita Devi.
It may be mentioned that Bisheshwar Sharma attained martyrdom and made supreme sacrifice for the nation when IEDs planted by terrorists exploded while he was serving in 34 Battalion BSF, deployed on Internal Security Duty at Tral, in Jammu & Kashmir.
In his brief speech, Manish Kumar appealed to the councillor and member to facilitate the BSF martyr's family residing in Imphal West district avail any administrative help as and when required.
On the other hand, the family Bisheshwar welcomed the move of granting the Operational Casualty Certificate by BSF as it would help them to avail various facilities from Central/State governments being the kin of the martyr.
While interacting with the officials they were informed about details of facilities available in employment and business sectors, etc., which can be availed through operational casualty certificate.
