Big wins for PCC, YWC, AKSDO, Al-Ameen in MNCA U-14 Boys Tournament

Imphal, February 13 2024: PCC, YWC, AKSDO and Al-Ameen registered comprehensive wins in the 3rd MNCA U-14 Boys Tournament on Tuesday.

PCC thrashed BKCC by 10 wickets at PTRC Ground, Patsoi Part-IV, Imphal.

PCC dismissed BKCC for 27 in 10.5 overs, thanks Lucky Thokchom and Rojer Laishram, who each claimed 5 wickets.

PCC then wrapped up the victory, taking 1.3 overs to complete the chase without losing a single wicket.

Lucky Thokchom (29 not out) singlehandedly took charge of the scoring in their run chase.

YWC, meanwhile, overpowered YUCC by 210 runs at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Imphal.

Seram Tondonsana (119), Poreinganba Sapam (32) and Daneil Seram (31 not out) helped YWC post 267/3 and the team went on to end YUCC's run chase in 16.3 overs for 57.Kelvinson Khoisam claimed 3 wickets, Seram Tondonsana took 2, and Daneil Seram, Indrakumar Singh Sanjenbam, Bidyananda and Leishangthem Chingthang contributed one each in YWC's comprehensive win.

AKSDO handed a 172-run defeat to TCMDC at Kongba Khunou Dhobi Lampak, Imphal East.

Batting first, AKSDO made 238/6 courtesy of Borish Khudrakpam (70), Chingamba Elangbam (61), Paikhomba Laishram (21) and Md Ushmal Ali (11) .

They then bundled out TCMDC in 22.3 overs for 66 to seal a huge victory.

The AKSDO bowling saw Saikhom Dinesh pick up 3 wickets, Bidyananda Ningthoujam and Bidyasagar Khundrakpam take 2 each, and Avinash Waikhom bag one in their triumph.

In their chase, Vishonath Laishram (23) was the lone bright spot for TCMDC.

Al-Ameen brushed aside ESU by 110 runs at THAU Ground, Thangmeiband.

Al-Ameen chose to bat and managed 175/7 with contributions from Shohei Akter (65), Md Duwa Aziz (30), Md Ashique (16) and Sheikh Ani-sur Rahaman (12) .

They then bowled well to bowl ESU out in 12.3 overs for 65, with Arish, Shohei Akter and Md Ashique Md Ashique claiming 2 scalps each, ahd Daanish Nasir and Raqib Nongjaimayum getting one each.
