BVP presents essentials at relief camp

Imphal, February 13 2024:
Bharat Vikash Parishad Manipur Prant in collaboration with its Thanga Branch distributed relief items to displaced families in connection with observance of National Women's Day 2024.The distribution covered relief camps set up in Thanga assembly constituency.
Organisation members including BVP Manipur president Sinam Pritam, national patron member Dr Sinam Rajen, key members Prof M Premjit, Avichandra, Dr Precilla, and Heikrujam Joybee visited the relief camps located at Sendra Chingkhong, Thanga Wangma High School, and Thanga Chingkha, where the delegation distributed essential items, including heavy blankets; to families staying in the relief camps due to the prevailing crisis in the state.
A free health check-up was also organised and medicines distributed to the displaced people.
The initiative, supported by the BVP Central Office in New Delhi, resonates deeply with the ethos of National Women s Day, said a statement issued by BVP Manipur Prant.
