KASC, PTRC, YWC, RCA have it easy in MNCA Men's U-19 Tournament

KASC, PTRC, YWC and RCA emerged easy winners in the 2nd MNCA Mens U-19 Tournament on Tuesday.
KASC hammered MODEL by 7 wickets in their meeting at Moijing Public Ground, Thoubal.
Riding on Md Aqee's heroics, KASC unleased a lethal bowling onslaught to bowl MODEL out in 10.5 overs for a paltry 27 after the latter opted to bat.
The star of KASC bowling, Md Aqee scalped 7 wickets while Bm Afsar and Md Rahis Khan chipped in with a wicket apiece.
The MODEL innings saw six ducks, with none of the other batters reaching double figures.
KASC then needed 7.1 overs to knock off the runs for loss of 3 wickets as Bm Irfan (18 not out) led his side to win.
In the chase opener Muhammad Ali Karim (6) fell to Suson Yanglem Singh while both Fm Sharif and Md Rahis Khan were dismissed by Biyon Naorem.
PTRC recorded a resounding 173-run win over PTCC at Model Hr Secondary & Oriental College Ground.
Electing to bat, PTRC put up a total of 241/7 with significant contributions from Robinson Sougaijam (66), Loukrakpam Anao Singh (38), Priyojit Thongam (25) and Salam Richie (22) .
For PTCC, Dhirendakishore Naorem took 2 wickets while Ngashepam Shivason Singh, Karnajit Mayanglangbam and Somobanta each bagged one.
After setting a competitive target, PTRC followed it up with a superb bowling display to skittle out PTCC in 20.2 overs for 68 for their comprehensive victory.
Chingakham Nikhil Meetei stood out in PTRC's bowling with a 5-wicket haul as Loukrakpam Anao Singh got 2 wickets, and Rohit Sharma Aribam and Tamarland Pheiroijam took one each.
Only Roneljit Ayekpam (15) and Naoshekpam Ngambarel (13) reached double figures in their run chase.
RCA enjoyed a 100-run victory against BLUE HAWK at Public Ground, Khangabok Part-Ill Cherapur, Thoubal.
RCA were all out in 28 overs for 190 as MD Danish khan (54), Nawas Sharif (33 not out), Alfash Kaif (25) and Iliyas (17) were key contributors in their innings.
In the process, RCA lost 4 wickets to Nameirakpam Lelil, 2 each to Moirangthem Romesh Singh and Akoijam Dhitaraj Singh, and one each to Krishnakanta Ngangkham and Vicky Yungkham.
RCA then bundled out their opponents in 30.4 overs for 90 for their emphatic win.
Naesh Hussain, who grabbed 4 wickets, was the pick of RCA's bowlers while MD Danish Khan claimed 2 wickets, with Aziz Mirza, Zamir Khan and Nawas Sharif taking one each.
For BLUE HAWK, Nameirakpam Lelil scored 17 not out as Nitish and Krishnakanta Ngangkham made 12 each in their futile run chase.
YWC beat SCCC by 3 wickets at Lairenjam Public Ground, Imphal.
Electing to bat, SCCC could only muster 142 after being bowled out in 37.2 overs.
Bas-ant, who hit 67, was the only notable batter in their innings.
Yumnam Chingkhei Nganba led the YWC bowling, collecting 3 wickets.
Seram Robinson collected 2 wickets while Yumnam Athouba, Yunnan Brightson Singh, Heishnam Manikanta and Sorokhaibam Dailish Singh each got one.
In response, YWC reached the mark in 18.3 overs, with three wickets to spare.
Heishnam Manikanta (30), Yumnam Achouba (28), Yumnam Chingkhei Nganba (14), Yumnam Kumar (12 not out), and Sorokhaibam Dailish Singh (12) all contributed to their team's convincing win.
For SCCC, Pravesh and Syed Hanif snapped 2 wickets each while Tomthinganba and Sandeep Kumar bagged one each.
