2nd MNCA U-19 Men's Cricket : Md Aqeel picks seven as KASC register 7-wicket win over Model Club

KASC, Khomidok sealed their first Group B win in the 2nd MNCA U-19 Men's Tournament by thrashing Model Club, Singjamei Chingamakha by 7 wickets at Moijing Public Ground.
KASC bundled out toss winners Model Club for 27 runs within 10.5 overs as Md Aqeel picked seven crucial wickets by conceding just 6 runs in his spell of 5.5 overs.
KASC then rode on Bm Irfan's 20-ball 18 to post the winning 31/3 in 7.1 overs despite Biyon Naorem claiming two wickets.
At Model Hr Sec and Oriental College ground, PTRC, Patsoi Part IV notched up their second Group D victory by bowling out PTCC, Patsoi Part III for 68 runs after they erected a commanding total of 241/7 in allotted 40 overs.

Robinson Sougaijam topscored for PTRC, who elected to bat first, with a 63-ball 66 while Loukrakpam Anao remained unbeaten on 24-ball 38 .
Dhirendrakishore Naorem (2/45) picked two wickets for PTCC as Ng Shivason, M Karnajit and Somobanta picked one wicket apiece.
In reply, PTCC faced stiff resistance and were eventually bowled out for 68 runs within 20.2 overs as Chingakham Nikhil (5/12) and Loukrakpam Anao (2/6) shared seven crucial wickets for PTRC.
Meanwhile, RCA who suffered their first game (Group C) loss, secured a commanding 100 run victory over Blue Hawk at Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground.
RCA were all out for 190 runs in 28 overs despite Md Danish's 57-ball 54, Nawas Sharif's 38-ball 33 and Alfash Kaif's 25-ball 21 .
But Naesh Hussain enjoyed a four wicket haul (4/15 in 6 overs) and Md Danish Khan picked two (2/29 in 5.4 overs) to help RCA subdue Blue Hawk for just 90 runs in 30.4 overs.
N Lelil (4/38), M Romesh (2/27) and A Dhitaraj (2/28) had shared eight wickets to give Blue Hawk upper hand earlier in the RCA innings.
Elsewhere at Lairenjam Public Ground, YWC, Langthabal also eased to their second Group A victory by registering a 3-wicket win.
Basant scored 71-ball 67 before toss winners SCCC got bundled out for 142 runs in 37.2 overs as Y Chingkhei Nganba (3/23) and Seram Robinson (2/26) shared five wickets among them.
YWC then rode on Heisnam Manikanta 30, Yumnam Achouba 28 and 32 extras to cruise to winning 143 in 18.3 overs.
