U-14 Boys Cricket : YWC, PCC, Al-Ameen post third straight wins

YWC, Langthabal; PCC, Mayaikoibi and Al-Ameen registered their third straight wins today in the ongoing 3rd MNCA U-14 Boys Cricket Tournament.
At Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, YWC overwhelmed YUCC, Kwakeithel Moirangpurel by 210 runs for the third Group B win courtesy Seram Tondonsana's 68-ball 119 and a two wicket haul.
Tondonsana, Poirenganba Sapam (32), Daniel Seram (31) and 65 extras fired toss winners YWC to 267/3 in 30 overs before YUCC were bundled out for just 57 runs in 16.3 overs with Kelvinson Khoisnam (3/4) and Seram Tondonsana (2/11) leading the bowling attack.

At PTRC ground, PCC, Mayaikoibi eased to third straight Group D win by adding 29 runs in just 1.3 overs after bowling out BKCC, Bamon Kampu for 27 runs in 10.5 overs .
Lucky Thokchom (5/17) and Rojer Laishram (5/6) enjoyed five wicket hauls for PCC to dismantle BKCC line up.
Lucky then hit 4 fours and 2 sixes to amass 29 runs alone and sealed the win.
Elsewhere at THAU ground, Al-Ameen thrashed ESU by 110 runs for their third straight Group C win.
Shohel Akter 65, Md Duwa Aziz and 42 extras lifted toss winners Al-Ameen to a total of 175/7 before ESU succumbed for 65 runs in 12.3 overs.
Lanchenba, S Abhinash and S Sayonba all picked two wickets for ESU before Md Ashique (2/4), Shohel Akter (2/8), Arish (2/14) bettered their performances and earned Al-Ameen the convincing victory.
In the Group A match staged at Kongba Dhobi Lampak, AKSDO eased to their second straight win by defending a massive total of 238/6 .
Borish Khundrakpam (70 off 65 balls), Chingamba Elangbam (61-ball 61) and 67 extras gave AKSDO the huge total before Saikhom Dinesh (3/10) and Bidyasagar Khundrakpam (2/7) led the team in bundling out TCMDC for 66 runs in 22.3 overs.
Vishonath Laishram (23) was the only double digit run getter for TCMDC in the chase.
