Thangmeiband AC will be at forefront of development in few years, asserts Kh Joykisan

Thangmeiband Assembly Constituency MLA Kh Joykisan has stated that the constituency will be at the forefront of development in all sectors in a few years.
The MLA was speaking at the 13th foundation day observation function of Thangmeiband Kendra Development Organisation (TAKDO) held at Ibudhou Naothingkhong Sanglen located at Thangmeiband Lairenhanjaba Leikai today.
Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Kh Joykishan stated that TAKDO is a well-known organisation in Manipur and attributed their popularity to the various developmental efforts undertaken by the organisation.
He stated that TAKDO has contributed its share in the academic as well as sports field aside from participating in important issues of the State.

Thangmeiband AC will become a frontrunner in all aspects of development due to the efforts of TAKDO taken up under their motto of 'Peace, Progress and Unity', the MLA asserted.
The TAKDO chief patron further shared that blacktopping of all roads in Thangmeiband AC will be completed by 2023 while saying that so far 70% of the construction work has been completed.
Speaking of developmental efforts, the MLA informed that construction of the water reservoir at Thangmeiband Cheiraoching is nearing completion and water pipes have been installed in the surrounding areas.
He then highlighted the issue faced in sourcing of water owing to inadequate rainfall.
"The Chief Minister is also keeping a keen eye on developmental efforts carried out in Thangmeiband AC", the MLA said.
As a part of the function, Kh Joykishan also presented simple gifts to the successful candidates of Manipur Combined Civil Services Examination (MCCSE) and pioneers and achievers from different fields of sports hailing from Thangmeiband AC.
It may be noted that prior to this event, the MLA planted tree saplings in the surrounding areas of Gobardhan Achouba Laishang in Thangmeiband Polem Leikai and kicked off the Green Thangmeiband Campaign this morning.
The MLA also released balloons to mark the 13th foundation day of TAKDO.
