ZU extends greetings, mourns death

Zeliangrong Union (AMN) has extended its warmest greetings for Christmas and New Year to all the people living in Assam, Manipur and Nagaland.
In his message to the people of the three states, Zeliangrong Union (AMN) president Azang Rongmei, expressed happiness over absence of bloodshed and killing amongst the brothers in the Zeliangrong region and conveyed appreciation to all the political groups of the national workers for maintaining peaceful atmosphere.
Meanwhile, ZU (AMN), Imphal, Sadar and Bishnupur, Churachandpur, Nungba, Khoupum, Noney, Barak Valley and Senapati zones, as well as Zeliangrong Women's Union, Manipur, Kabui Mothers' Association and Zeliangrong Youth's Front (AMN) have condoled the untimely demise of ZU (Churachandpur zone) R Ruangmeilan, who breathed his last on December 12 at Reangzang village in Churachandpur district.
In its joint condolence message, the organisations shared the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family and remembered Ruangmeilan as a dedicated Zeliangrong leader who worked for the welfare of people.
A condolence meeting chaired by ZU president Azang Rongmei was held at ZU Imphal head office.
