AR extends assistance to Agniveer aspirants

With the stated objective to help the youth realise their dream of being a part of Indian Army, IGAR (S) facilitated conduct of various training sessions and motivational programmes to address their inquisitiveness related to the coveted Agnipath scheme.
According to PRO IGAR (S), "true to the spirit of being the Friends of North East, IGAR (S) has undertaken several initiatives to assist the youth as aspiring to enrol as Agniveers".
Complementing the efforts, an equally exhilarate ing response was received from the youth aspiring to enrol in the Agnipath scheme, the PRO said, adding that a total of approximately 200 young aspirants could register with the guidance of IGAR (S).
Presently, the CEE exams are underway.
Further to assist them in guidance, active support is being provided to facilitate their conveyance from inaccessible remote locations of the state.
The noble initiative has been well received by the local youth of the area.
They appreciated the efforts and guidance provided by IGAR (S) for supporting their effort in joining the Agnipath scheme, the PRO added.
