Six student bodies have asserted that they will look seriously into Catholic Educational Society, for teaching books to students which are not prescribed by Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) .

The book also distorted the history of Manipur.

While pointing out that the board took responsibilities for the errors in the books prescribed by it, he enquired who will be responsible for the errors in the books prescribed by private schools under Catholic Educational Society, Manipur.
He stated that such act of Catholic Educational Society is not the right move and cautioned that the student bodies will never remain silent on this matter.
