Union MoS visits KV, Akampat

The Minister of State for Education, Annpurna Devi visited Kendriya Vidyalaya Akampat, Imphal East today and interacted with the students, principal, staff and representatives of the Parents' Association of the Vidyalaya.
According to a statement issued by Kendriya Vidyalaya Akampat, Imphal East, Annpurna Devi first planted a tree in the campus of the Vidyalaya.
The Minister went on to motivate the students to participate wholeheartedly in the various flagship programmes launched by the Government of India such as "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat", "Pariksha Pe Charcha" and so on.
She congratulated the students for their achievements in the field of academics, sports and various co-curricular activities.
Principal of KV Akampat, Arun Kumar, gave a presentation highlighting the infrastructure of the Vidyalaya, achievements of the students and various activities with regard to NCC, scouts and guides, yoga, art and crafts etc.
Notably, Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi, president, BJP Manipur; Khumanthem Diana Devi, DC Imphal East and SP John DC in-charge KVS RO Tinsukia and chairperson Vidyalaya Management Committee KV Akampat also graced the function.
