Eid-ul Fitr: Gifts, edible items presented

In connection with the sacred occasion Eid-ul Fitr, many extended warm wishes and aid to the Muslim community.
Dr Alyson Abomai who is intending to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections for Outer Manipur Lok Sabha Constituency visited different mosques under his constituency and distributed edible items and gifts today.
The team of Dr Alyson Abomai visited 40 mosques in Jiribam district; 10 mosques in Nongpok Sekmai in Heirok AC, Thoubal district; 30 mosques in Sangaiyumpham in Khangabok AC and 16 mosques in Phundrei and Ukhongsang under Wangjing Tentha AC.
His noble initiatives were lauded by the Muslim brethren and wished him success in all his endeavours.
In another incident, social worker Md Kamaruddin, intending candidate of the upcoming Panchayat election from Changamdabi GP distributed edible items in connection with Eid-ul Fitr today during a simple programme held at his residence at Yairipok Changamdabi.
Speaking at the occasion, he extended best wishes to the Muslim brethren and called for peace and brotherhood among the different communities.
He also prayed for a peaceful and prosperous Manipur.
Meanwhile, Langathel Zilla Parishad Nominee Member Soibam Kulabidhu also distributed edible items to the Muslim brethren today with regards to the special occasion of Eid.
Speaking at the event held at Phundrei Makha Leikai, he extended best wishes to the Muslim community and maintained that he took up the initiative of extending aid on the auspicious occasion of Eid calling for a unified and harmonious society.
