Imphal, February 20 2023: Thousands of people attended the Lanna Thouram ceremony of Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) president Irengbam Chaoren alias Bhorot at Khagempalli Huidrom Leikai today.

Clad in their traditional attire, people belonging to different communities attended the Lanna Thouram ceremony and they offered floral tributes to the photograph of Irengbam Chaoren.

A team of Thang-Ta players also gave a performance and saluted the late revolutionary leader.

A large number of public leaders and representatives of CSOs too attended the ceremony.

Meanwhile, prayer sessions were held at Bungte Chiru Church and Imphal Chapel as per Christian customs in honour of the late revolutionary leader.

RPF president Irengbam Chaoren passed away on February 10 last following a fatal illness.
