Film Appreciation Course begins

A 15-day Film Appreciation Course, which is being organised by Manipur State Film and Television Institute (MSFTI) began from Monday at MSFTI Classroom Theatre, Palace Gate, here.
The opening function of the course which is being organ ised in collaboration with International Federation of Film Critics-India (FIPRESCI-India) was attended by FIPRESCI-India member N Vidyashankar, who is also Bangalore Film Festival founder & artistic director and critic, national film awardee Meghachandra Kongbam and MSFTI director Birendra Salam as presidium members.
N Vidyashankar, along with associate professor & award-winning critic Dr Pranjal Borah, assistant professor & cinema scholar Dr Meenakshi Dutta and Meghachandra will conduct the course as resource persons, In a release, MSFTI informed that the course is being participated by 25 people, with classes conducted from 10 am till 6 pm, including film screening from 4 pm to 6 pm, followed by thorough discussion on the hlms screened the next day.
