INTUC state delegates leave for plenary session

Imphal, February 20 2023:
A nine-member delegation of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) Manipur Branch led by its president Yumnam Rana Pratap Singh left Imphal to attend the 33rd INTUC plenary session to be held in New Delhi on February 22 .
In a release, INTUC Manipur conveyed that the conference will be attended by almost 10,000 delegates including trade union leaders from various parts of the world such as Japan, China, Singapore, Nepal, Bangladesh, etc., as well as eminent political leaders along with representatives of various trade unions/federations/asso-ciations of the country.
During the conference, INTUC will focus on resumption of the same old pension scheme (OPS) enjoyed by retired employees since 2005 and also on making Rs 21,000 per month the minimum wage ceiling for all workers/employees, it added.
