All set for HSE 2023: COHSEM Chairman

The Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) Chairman has announced that all preparations have been completed for holding Higher Secondary Examination 2023 and Class XI Examination 2023 .
Speaking to media persons at his Babupara office this afternoon, COHSEM Chairman Takhellambam Ojit said that HSE 2023 and Class XI Examination 2023 are the two exams which would be held in proper fashion after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Altogether 32,899 students would give the Class XI Examination at 219 centres which starts from February 24 and ends on April 5 .
A total of 36,717 students would appear in the HSE 2023 which would be held at 120 centres from February 23 to April 1 .

The COHSEM Chairman appealed to all the parents, guardians, student unions and stakeholders to help in holding the exams smoothly and successfully.
Ojit also appealed to all CSOs and other organisations not to impose any bandh or blockade or create any disturbance during the examinations.
COHSEM Controller of Examinations S Sukumar informed that several measures have been taken up to hold the examinations in proper fashion.
He appealed to all students/candidates, OCs, invigilators and teachers not to use unfair means or abet use of unfair means in the exams.
If any one is found taking mobile phones and other communication devices inside exam halls, circulating question papers and other confidential documents through the internet, befitting action would be taken up, said the COHSEM Controller of Examinations.
The process of transporting question papers from police stations to exam centres as well as opening of sealed question sets would be captured in both still and video cameras, Sukumar said.
Being the most important examination conducted by COHSEM in the State, the council has been working very hard to ensure that the HSE 2023 is conducted smoothly and successfully.
The council has also been planning to declare the results of HSE 2023 by the first week of May, he added.
