Kangpokpi, February 20 2023:
The Thadou Students' Association, General Headquarters has submitted a representation to Chief Minister N Biren Singh today to make immediate appointment of successful candidates of the MCSCCE, 2016(2022) .
The student body said that non-appointment of Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination successful candidates to their respective posts, even after three months of declaring the result by the Manipur Public Service Commission on November 22 last is shocking.
It also claimed that 'Offer Form' issued on December 31, 2022, was cancelled ambiguously.
The student body urged the Chief Minister to adhere to the judgment of the Supreme Court order dated February 11, 2022 which said that the successful candidates, upon reappointment, will be given the continuity of service and consequential benefits if they have been reappointed in the same post.
The student body stated that appointment of the present MCSCCE 2016(2022) successful candidates will give forty-eight SDC officers and solve the problem of shortage of Civil Service officers to some extent.
It then appealed to the Government to issue appointment letters to the successful candidates.
