MYSU celebrates 1st Foundation Day

Manipur Youth and Students' Union (MYSU) celebrated its 1st Foundation Day at JN Manipur Dance Academy Hall, here, on Friday with MYSU advisor Mayengbam Amutombi Singh, president Wahengbam Tanu Chanu, UCM president Joychandra Konthoujam, social activist Dr Lamtinthang Haokip, KIL president R Sanahanbi, IPF Manipur president Ashang Kasar, SICO advisor Akham Langol, social and political activist Dr Haobijam Gi-tajen Meetei, ACOAM Lup Kangleipak president S Sanjit, IPAK president Ksh Somorendro, and social activists Dr Y Kiran and Bhulyamayum Sajad as presidium members.
In his speech, UCM president Joychandra said that the role of youth who are the pillars of the future society is very important in making Manipur stronger and they should work sincerely or else the society will only regress.
He then appealed to civil society organisations, student bodies and public leaders to work with sincerity and dedication to make the society stronger and concrete.
He also suggested formulation of certain norms regarding functioning of student organisations.
