Lilong HC signs pact with Assam college

Imphal, November 18 2022:
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Tyagbir Hem Baruah (THB) College, Jamugurihat in Assam and Lilong Haoreibi College, Thoubal district on Thursday for collaboration in research and development activities for a period of five years.
The MoU was arrived at after an interactive session held at the THB college conference hall attended by a delegation of faculties from both the colleges and signed by the respective principals namely Dr Ajit Hazarika on behalf of THB and Dr Raheijuddin Sheikh for LH College.
The Lilong Haoreibi delegation led by the principal also comprised IQAC coordinator Dr Ng Pikeshwore Singh, assistant professor Dr Sidiqur Rahman, guest faculty Fm Mustahz and technical assistant T Johnson Singh.
Lilong Haoreibi College, which has been accredited and assessed under NAAC, is the only higher educational institute located in the minority concentrated block in Manipur with more than 95 per cent of the students belonging to educationally & economically backward minority Muslim community.
The necessary collaboration with other institutes in research & development activities had been taken up as per recommendations of the NAAC specially for boosting the morale of the faculties in the field of research & development activities in addition to teaching & learning processes so that the college may score higher in the next second cycle of assessment, said a Lilong College release.
