Meeyamgi Numit held in Jiri, Tmg, Tbl, Cdl districts

In continuation of state government's objective to make government citizen-centric, proactive and programme implementation effective, district administrations organised Meeyamgi Numit and Hill Leaders' Day on Friday.
At DC Complex Jiribam, Chingdong Leikai, Jiribam deputy commissioner W Malemnganba Chenglei, additional deputy commissioner Jameson Hangshing, Jiribam SDPO T Inaobi Singh, Borobekra SDC M Devananda Singh and other district level officers of various departments attended the event.
Certain public services which include beneficiary oriented schemes like CMHT, PMJAY, Old Age Pension, CM Widow Pension scheme and Disability related benefits etc., were delivered by the departments concerned on the spot besides rendering of services to many individuals of the district by departments such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Social Welfare, CAF & PD, Forest, etc.
The DC also heard grievances of the public one by one and instructed the department officials to redress the same.
More than 61 applications of various issues were also received for redressal.
For Tamenglong district Hill Leaders' Day and Meeyamgi Numit was conducted at Mini Secretariat Auditorium Hall, Tamenglong district headquarters.
Deputy commissioner Pawan Yadav along with officials led by ADM Thangboi Gangte supervised smooth conduct of the event during which various departments delivered and distributed services and benefits of various schemes to the public.
For better facilitation and coordination of the programme, officers namely Tamenglong SDO S Imosana Meitei and SDC Buiheimliu were appointed as district coordinator and assistant coordinator respectively.
For any grievances, the district administration advised Tamenglong denizens to send their grievances at whatsapp number 7641812082 or email at [email protected] three days prior to the programme.
On the other hand, Thoubal district administration organised Meeyamgi Numit on Friday at the Counting Hall of Deputy Commissioner's Office Complex with deputy commissioner A Subhash Singh personally perusing grievances and demands of the public.
While exuding confidence that the district administration could solve the problems and grievances of the public as said most of the issues were related to old age pension schemes and CMHT cards, he appealed to people of the district to come forward and place their grievances and take the benefits of various welfare schemes introduced by the government.
The deputy commissioner also distributed CMHT card to two beneficiaries.
The district received around 109 written applications on Friday relating to different schemes.
Thoubal SP Jogeshchandra Haobijam, CMO Dr Y Nokul, all SDOs and other district level officers of different departments also attended the programme.
In Chandel district 'Hill Leader's Day' and 'Meyamgi Numit' were held at Mini Secretariat Multipurpose Hall, DC complex on Friday.
In all, 32 stalls of various departments were set up to extend benefits of welfare schemes to the public on the spot itself.
The district administration also interacted with the denizens of Chandel to hear their grievances.
The programme was also attended by ADC (Chandel) Md Firoz Khan, SDO (Kheng-joy) Lukram Herojit and district level officers.
