SAF meet ends, delegates plant saplings

Imphal, November 13 2022:
The three-day South Asian Fraternity (SAF) Conference attended by 110 delegates including from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and different states of the country concluded on Sunday at Youth Hostel, Khuman Lampak.
According to Conference convenor Salam Rupachan-dra, the first day of the conference had South Asian University, New Delhi Professor Dhananjay Tripathy delivering a lecture on 'The Entire World is a Family' and IAS (Retired) K Radhakumar presenting a paper on 'Manipuri Culture and Literature'.
On the second day, Manipur University Economics Department professor Elangbam Bijoykumar presented a paper on 'The Present Day Advancement Lacks the Sense of Social Service' while Sri Lankan delegate Mst Keerthy and Banglades' Sabrina Tabasum deliberat ed on 'The Entire World is a Family'.
As part of the valedictory function of the conference, delegates visited and planted saplings at INA Complex, Moirang, the convenor informed.
